Elmshurst

Adjacent to Oakley, Elmshurst offers modern facilities for around 100 boy boarders (indeed, it is effectively part of the same building as Oakley). Elmhurst boasts the shortest walk to our artificial pitches, the swimming pool and rugby fields.

The Houseparent is supported by Housemother, Louise Heard, and a team of tutors.

Hazeldene

Charmingly sited next to Thomas Cookes and close to Old Chapel, Hazeldene is a beautiful building with a fascinating history. It can accommodate up to eighty-four day girls.

Housman Hall

The former home of Old Bromsgrovian A. E. Housman, the only mixed boarding house, the only exclusively Sixth Form boarding house and the only house in ߣÍÃÊÓÆµ town itself; Housman Hall houses one hundred girl and boy boarders aged between sixteen and eighteen.

The Houseparent runs Housman Hall with the help of tutors and Housemothers, Angela Gregory and Jayne Wise.

Lupton

Holding up to eighty day boys, Lupton is a centrally located, fine red brick building, close to the Worcester Road and at the heart of the day house cluster.

Lyttelton

With over sixty day boys, Lyttelton is centrally located on the campus (adjacent to Lupton) and full of character. Many rooms overlook an elegant lawned quadrangle.

Wendron-Gordon 

Dominating the north side of the central green, the impressive but dignified Wendron-Gordon house holds one hundred boy boarders. One modern annex enhances facilities.

The Houseparent is supported by Housemother, Camille Wilkins and the tutor team.

Webber House is part of Wendron-Gordon, and this is run by Houseparent Jo Courtney, with support from Housemother, Mrs Deverill-Skelding.

Mary Windsor

Mary Windsor moved to a new home in January 2012 – a state of the art, imaginatively designed new boarding house for 60 girls. Many of the rooms look out upon the beautiful playing fields.

The Houseparent is assisted by Housemother, Andrea Watkins.

Page House (Prep Boarding)

In September 2012, Page House was opened for our Prep boarders, housing all of the pupils under one roof. This bigger house has allowed us to expand our boarding numbers in response to demand for more places.

Occupying the same building as Wendron Gordon, School House is for day boys. It has a unique atmosphere, is imposingly located and is currently configured to hold up to seventy pupils.

Walters

The first house one passes after entering the main south gates, Walters has a special atmosphere of its own. Free standing and spacious, Walters accommodates over 60 day boys.

Oakley

Oakley is a modern boarding house located close to the main gates and all sporting facilities. Oakley offers a welcoming and homely environment in a newly refurbished and modern building.

Ottilie Hild House is our newest girls' day house, situated in the heart of the School and overlooking Gordon Green.

Thomas Cookes

Ancient and elegant, Thomas Cookes can accommodate up to eighty day girls and holds a commanding position overlooking the Worcester Road . It is the only house on the main campus that can be clearly seen from outside the School.
